Excellent Well Delivery

Salos is proud to be part of the well delivery team for a recent HPHT well in the UKCS.  The project began back in 2018 at the RGU drilling simulator, where we worked with the crews utilising our Human Factors’ techniques.  We overloaded the crews with advanced well control under MPD conditions and coached them to effectively deal with threats and potential errors.

Our coaches joined the team at the rigsite and provided further coaching.  Personnel from marine, service providers and drill crew were all coached over the well’s duration.

Seven of ten Rushmore benchmarks were best in class for this HPHT well.  Very proud of the coaches & the rig team delivering such a great result.
